To keep your handcrafted lanterns looking beautiful and performing at their best:

Charge with Sunlight

Place your lanterns in an area that receives direct sunlight during the day. This ensures the solar panels charge fully so your lantern can glow brightly at night. Avoid placing them under heavy shade or indoors where sunlight is limited.

Keep Solar Panels Clean

Dust, dirt, or debris on the solar panel can reduce charging efficiency. Gently wipe the panel with a soft, dry cloth every few weeks to keep them working optimally.

 Weather & Outdoor Use

Our lanterns are designed to be weather-resistant, but prolonged exposure to heavy rain or extreme moisture can affect the wood’s finish over time. For best longevity, place them in covered outdoor spaces when possible or bring them indoors during heavy storms.

 Natural Material Tips

Because each lantern is handcrafted with natural wood and metal, slight variations in grain and finish are part of its charm. Over time, wood may develop a richer patina — this is normal and enhances the look. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals. Just wipe gently with a soft cloth.

 Light Longevity

After a full day of sunlight, your lantern typically provides 8–10 hours of warm glow at night. To maintain this, regularly check and keep the solar panel unobstructed.

General Tips

Avoid placing lanterns directly under outdoor lights at night — this can confuse the light sensor.

If battery performance noticeably drops after long use, the rechargeable cell may need replacement over time.
